WHAT IS A FOOD TEAM?

A food team is a group of people from the same neighborhood. They work together to purchase a range of food products directly from the farmer or producer. Each team consists of around 20 families, who organize themselves for the weekly group purchase. If you become a member of a food team, you will get access to a web store. Your team has its own unique order list there. So you choose from products from farmers who have an offer for your team. Each food team also has its own depot or storage facility. There, the ordered food is delivered weekly on a fixed day. The bill is paid monthly: each team member pays his / her amount into the joint account, and from that account the group pays the producers.
