WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE WITH A 'NORMAL' MARKET?

A local market is just a bit different than a normal market. At a local market there are mainly local producers with their own eco-friendly products. So just like at the other points of sale in the short chain, no auctions or supermarkets are involved. Most local markets have regulations. It states, for example, that all stalls must sell eco-friendly products or that there may only a few stalls per product category. There are many traditional local markets such as the farmers’ market.

WHICH PRODUCTS DO I FIND AT A LOCAL MARKET?

The range varies from eco-friendly products, but you can rest assured that your products are grown locally. The items that you put in your shopping basket has not traveled superfluous miles. Moreover, the products are fresh and completely seasonal. Because what mother nature does not deliver at that moment, you will not find there. And nicely included, the local producer sells his product there himself. So ask him for advice. He will gladly assist you with advice and deed.
